Monkey Pee, Monkey Do

Tonight after dinner we took Tate out on the playground.  He makes friends quickly and soon was running around with an 8-9 year old Chinese boy and girl.  He mimics their Chinese and acts just like he is part of the gang.  The 9 year old boy went to the side of the grass, pulled down his pants and started to pee.  Tate ran over, saw what he was doing and immediately started copying.  Dan made a weak attempt to stop him, but I think was overcome by the fact that it was so funny and also that Tate was half way into it before we could take action.  Tate will have to be potty trained Western style when we move back to the U.S.

Ash good luck with this. It's all I can do to keep the twins from whipping it out in public whenever they need to go--On a tree at the zoo, in the grass at the grocery store parking lot, in our front yard right by the mailbox while cars drive by...anywhere Is fair game.
