Lost Vegas
We kept telling Tate we were going to Las Vegas, and he kept saying, "Is Vegas lost?" Well he might have nailed it. Two hours ago we rolled back into our garage from a 3 day get-a-away to sin city. Dan had a conference, and I spent time with a friend from Beijing who has a boy Tate's age. They had a great time, and so did we. We went to two buffets, swam and stayed an afternoon at the Children's Museum. But mostly, chatted and got away from the normal routine. I didn't take one picture, but got a tour of the strip, saw the Old Mormon Fort (will have to go in next time), used my 10% off coupon at Macy's (offered to us by our hotel), and ate really, really good food. You've gotta love the buffets in that town and the water show at the Bellagio. We didn't drive by Pawn Stars shop, so that leaves reason to go back. Overall, a really nice way to start the week.
