We stayed in Beijing for Chinese New Year. Every year during this time out of ancient tradition they have temple fairs at the ancient temples located inside the city. I haven't yet got a clear answer of what the ancient temple fairs were like, or the reason for them. A Modern day fair is similar to what you see in the kiddie/game section of a carnival. The
juxtaposition of Sponge Bob in an ancient Chinese temple was almost too overwhelming for us. Tate looks like he's in pain, but he actually enjoyed the Merry-Go-Round once it got going.
