Where is the Love?

If you're wondering where your share of the happy is in this World, you may find that it's here with Tate.  He knows how to find joy in his environment.  We went on a boat ride today around Hou Hai Lake.  The battery operated boat ride on Hou Hai wasn't as thrilling as the motor boat ride we experienced this summer on the Columbia, but still Tate had a great time.  He did say half way through, "I want to go in an up-in-the-air boat mommy."  I'm pretty sure an up-in-the-air-boat means airplane.  Since parking at Hou Hai is limited we took a taxi both ways which was also a treat for Tate.  While the rest of the taxi riding crowd in Beijing would prefer riding in a private car, Tate prefers riding in a taxi.  He really is having an easy time lately finding the fun in the situation.  That means a much less stressful life for me!  We are so grateful for this.
