Mint Toy Museum

This is Tate and my third trip to Singapore.  Dan usually eats breakfast with us in the morning and then leaves until 12-1 in the morning.  This time Tate and I went to the mint toy museum (see top picture).  They had all kinds of toys from the 1930s-1990s from all over the world.  It was amazing to see how similar the toys looked from country to country across the decades.  Even the space toys from China in the 1930s (when they were going through a revolution) looked very similar to those from the U.S.  The dolls looked different but most of the boy type toys looked the same.  We found this playground (next two pics) in the mall right across the street from our Hotel.  The first 5 nights we stayed on Orchard Rd. which is like a version of  New York's 5th Ave.  The road has mall after mall after mall.  The mall with this playground we had passed 100 times, and who would've known there was a playground in there.  We found it by accident, and after the first play Tate begged to go back every day.  He MISSES his cousins like crazy.  He called out Audra's name several times over and over at dinner.  He make believe played with Ty and Abby.  He kept telling me Giorgia had a "Pop Goes the Weasel," when we read our nursery rhymes, and he asked me several times if he could go play with his cousins.  He saw two kids at the park playing together and looking on said, "Mom is that fun?"  That about broke me.
