St. Pat's
Tate went on a lunch date with Dan on St. Patrick's day. A few weeks ago he went to lunch with Dan without me because I had to go somewhere. The next day at night he said, "Dad should we go to lunch?" He was trying to set up another date. He really enjoys joining Dan at the Bistro.
Friday we went to pick up Dan from work. The office ladies came out to greet Tate, and he reverted into his Chinese-English accent. This means he speaks English like he hears them speak it, so instead of calling one secretary Elva he called her Elba. A couple days ago we walked out our door and a chinese worker was mopping the floor. Tate came out in his accent and said, "We'bre going downstairbs." Bascially, he puts his tongue to the front of his mouth and says what he is trying to say. I just find it so cute because he isn't doing it to be funny or rude, he's really trying to speak to them on their terms.
